Project: Starbucks Reserve Roastery
New York, December 2018

December 2018, Starbucks opened it's Reserve Roastery in New York. In a wonderfull collaboration with Studio Snowpuppe and Starbucks we developed the metal version of Snowpuppe's paper Chestnut lamp.

We used our signature method of attaching different hand-folded metal sheets together to create these lamps. It was a very nice project to work on together.

"The Roastery is a thoughtfully designed workspace where every day we are roasting small-lot, single-origin Reserve coffee and blends," said a statement from Starbucks.

Project: snake & Dagger designed by Zachary pulman
london, october 2018

Zachary Pulman:

“It’s been an absolute pleasure designing the airstream for those denim obsessed boys at Snake & Dagger. Looking for an unusual way to showcase their luxury jeans, with the added bonus of being able to be free-roaming, an airstream with a twist was the perfect t.

They wanted the airstream to look quite masculine, keeping the design modern in contrast to the vintage airstream. Being big boys they weren’t afraid of the dark, so we kept the inside moody and contemporary with the outside shiny and retro.

We chose flooring by Bolon, and magnetic lighting by Flos allowing an elegant lighting system that could be removed for transport. The Beehive light by Marc de Groot stands out against the blue theme, acting as a focal point.”

Court in Arnhem

Court in Arnhem

Project: canteen of the court designed and furnished by workshop of wonders in collaboration with revive
Arnhem, 2016

This canteen of the court in Arnhem has a contemporary warm character. This design uses a high-quality woven PVC floor from Bolon that is suitable for use in hospitality, but also has a homely feel. The life-size image on the panel wall at the back of the room is of the Rijnbrug and makes the city of Arnhem visible in the room.

Our brushed brass Beehive lamps are jewelery in the room and respond to the geometric wallpaper of the French brand Élitis.
